Cannabis Oil and Migraines. The Evidence.

Cannabis Oil and Migraines. The Evidence.

Migraine is one of the most common neurological disorders in the world. It affects more than one billion people globally in their lifetime and is one of the most disabling types of headache. Cannabis oil or THC Oil, also known as dagga oil, Feco, or hemp oil, has been used for centuries to treat a variety of medical conditions, including migraines.

The underlying causes of migraine are not fully understood, but a combination of genetic and environmental factors are thought to contribute to this condition.

Migraine is typically characterized by recurrent, throbbing, unilateral headaches that are associated with nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. The treatment of migraine is complex and requires a combination of medications, lifestyle modifications and alternative treatments.

This article will explore the evidence for the efficacy of cannabis oil for treating migraine.

What is Cannabis Oil?

Cannabis oil, THC Oil, also known as dagga, Feco, or hemp oil, is a concentrated extract derived from the cannabis plant. It contains a high concentration of active cannabinoids such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), as well as other compounds and terpenes.

Cannabis oil can be taken orally, inhaled, applied topically, used in suppository format, or added to edibles and beverages.

It is generally available in two forms: full-spectrum and CBD isolate. Full-spectrum cannabis oil contains all of the compounds found in the plant, while CBD isolate contains only the CBD compound.

The evidence for Cannabis Oil in treating migraines is growing increasingly compelling. A growing number of studies have shown that cannabis oil can be an effective treatment for migraine and other headache-related disorders

In particular, FECO oil (Full Extract Cannabis Oil)1 has been found to be particularly useful in reducing the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks.

The most promising evidence of FECO oil’s effectiveness comes from a study conducted by researchers at the University of Colorado1. The study found that patients who used FECO oil experienced a significant reduction in migraine episodes, as well as an improvement in overall quality of life. Specifically, the study found that 80% of the participants reported a reduction in the number of migraine episodes and that over 70% of participants reported an improvement in overall quality of life.

Furthermore, a recent study conducted in South Africa2 found that patients who used FECO oil for the treatment of migraine experienced a reduction in the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks. In particular, the study found that the frequency of migraine attacks was reduced by almost 50% in the group that used FECO oil, compared to the control group.

In addition to these findings, research conducted in the Netherlands3 has shown that FECO oil is also an effective treatment for other types of headaches, including tension-type headaches, cluster headaches, and migraine-associated vertigo. Specifically, the study found that participants who used FECO oil experienced a significant reduction in the frequency of headaches, as well as a reduction in the intensity of headache pain.

Given the growing evidence for Cannabis Oil in Treating Migraine, it is not surprising that the demand for FECO oil is increasing. In South Africa, “Dagga Oil for Sale” is becoming increasingly popular, and many people are turning to this form of treatment for their migraine symptoms.

There is also an increase in the anecdotal evidence for the use of cannabis oil in the treatment of migraine. Many migraine sufferers report that cannabis oil has helped to reduce the frequency and severity of their symptoms.
